Paul Gauguin Eco-Friendly Refit

Paul Gauguin Cruises, in collaboration with Ponant, is giving its namesake vessel an eco-conscious makeover. The ship is incorporating advanced heat recovery systems and efficient chillers to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. An innovative Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) system is being installed to convert waste heat into electricity, further enhancing the ship’s efficiency.

The eco-friendly upgrades extend to public areas as well. The pool deck is getting a new mosaic banner and canopy, while restaurants and bars are being redesigned with sustainability in mind. Le Grill, for instance, now features modern design elements with ceramic tiles.
